Very cool idea but could you add a new control option?
rotate the side up : UP
rotate left side down : DOWN
rotate right side up : triangle
rotate rigth side down : cross
rotate upper side clockwise : LEFT
rotate upper side anti-clockwise : RIGHT
    rotate bottom clockwise : CIRCLE
    rotate bottom anti.clockwise : SQUARE
roatate front clockwise : L- Trigger
    rotate front anit-clockwise : R-Trig.

make the whole cube 360 degrees turnable
and make the side which is on top the upper side in version 1.2 with Upper side rotation u always move the yellow side even if its not on top

A good piece of homebrew, but the controls are awkward. Perhaps if arrows and/or buttons were placed on the cube itself would help.

You can’t roll the cube. This method of cube solving, is the kind recommended by speed cubists. Unfortunately my data model doesn’t seem to allow for rolling the cube over. I’ll try to think of a hack to do it.

Well, newcoleco suggested the controls being on the cube itself, but I’m missing someone to make the needed graphics, and without the graphics it can’t be fixed.

I am having trouble rotating the cube so the top goes to the bottom so I can continue solving the puzzle. I have played with the control settings, but somehow I can’t seem to know which move make the top (yellow) move to the bottom (orange).

Whild you guys work on a clever way to rotate the cube, I was able to just do a workaround to rotating the cube, I simply flip upside down the PSP, I know the controls are a bit akward when you do this, but as long as you solve the orange side first, and then flip around the PSP, you can continue in solving the rest of the puzzle.

On a real handheld Rubik’s Cube my best time is under 3 minutes. On this PSP version my best time so far is 7.11 minutes. I think as I get better at the controls, I will probably be close to my real handheld type or better.

Where do you stick the file. I stuck it in the game file and it did not work.

Yeah! It would be a plus if the cube can be flip for the last layer. Impressive for those who got tje last layer, improvising the flip of the console! I’ve got really messy!!

On the real thing, it took me quite a bit, like over 12mins… ZERO success with the console.

Well, this great works! Still looking forward for the flip.

I love your program, but I have one request: For color blind people, it’s quite impossible to distinguish the light green you used from yellow. Could you please include the option to choose a darker green in the next release?
    Thank you!

Well, I’ll try to test with colour blind people for the next release to make the yellow and green easier to tell apart.
